Mike Gustafson is an advisor to Artiman Ventures and its portfolio companies. In his more than 25 years of experience, he has successfully led multiple technology companies and teams – including public and private companies – across infrastructure and software offerings, and high growth businesses from pre-revenue to multi-billion dollar revenues.

Mike was previously CEO and Chairman of Virident Systems [acquired by Western Digital Corporation (NASDAQ: WDC)]. He also served as CEO and Board Member of BlueArc Corporation which was acquired by Hitachi Data Systems, where he later served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the File and Content Business.

Earlier in his career, Mike held senior roles in sales, services, marketing, and product at McDATA and IBM.

Mike also serves as Executive Chairman of the Board of ClearDB. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis – John M. Olin School of Business.
