Houtan Fanisalek is the co-founder of SensorKit, an exercise, activity, and gesture recognition platform for wearable devices. At SensorKit, Houtan built the software platform for the patent-pending exercise recognition software.
Houtan's fascination with technology began at a young age. He learned how to code at eight. Houtan obtained his B.S. in both Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Binghamton University where he was the president of the IEEE student chapter.
Houtan worked at Lockheed Martin on embedded software and sensor systems while attending Columbia University for his M.S. in Computer Science. He spent his time working across the globe implementing Lockheed Martin technology on numerous projects including the Australian Railway System.
