Balaji co-founded Nanoly with the intent to eliminate the need for refrigeration of vaccines and protein-based therapeutics so that more people could have access to life-saving medicine worldwide. He has garnered skills on how to manage a team and place both a management and scientific advisory board together. He also has written grants that have been funded.
Balaji Sridhar, received his Ph.D. in Chemical-Biological Engineering in renowned Professor Kristi Anseth’s lab at the University of Colorado working with using polymers to treat cartilage defects in knees. He is also an M.D. candidate at the University of Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from MIT. He has more than 10 years of research experience in biotechnology research including microscopy, organic chemistry synthesis including polymers, cell-culture techniques, and techniques to verify presence of organic materials. Dr. Sridhar has worked as a researcher at MIT’s Langer Lab and for Chevron Corporation.
